The Music Council of Australia Fund is a tax-deductible fund listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations under Subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible. The Music Council will send you by post a receipt for your donation, allowing you to deduct it from your taxable income. PREFERRED USE OF YOUR DONATION If you wish to take advantage of the tax-deductibility, then by law you may not place conditions on your donation, nor receive any good or service in return. However, you may indicate a preferred use for your donated funds from among the activities for which the Music Council is seeking financial support.
