The Music Council of Australia

Make a tax deductible donation

I would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the Music Council of Australia Fund.

The Music Council of Australia Fund is a tax-deductible fund listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations under Subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible. The Music Council will send you by post a receipt for your donation, allowing you to deduct it from your taxable income. Thank you very much for your support.

PREFERRED USE OF YOUR DONATION If you wish to take advantage of the tax-deductibility, then by law you may not place conditions on your donation, nor receive any good or service in return. However, you may indicate a preferred use for your donated funds from among the activities for which the Music Council is seeking financial support. The Music Council will take this very strongly into consideration when deciding the use of the funds. If you wish, please place a mark alongside your preferred activity:

Music. Play for Life campaign, to encourage people everywhere to make or learn music.

The communications program: the websites, Music Forum magazine, the email bulletins, the annual conference, the annual address.

Music in Communities Awards, a new program that promotes the most brilliant community music programs in Australia

National Instrument Bank & the Resound Bushfire Appeal: finding instruments for the finest players & replacing instruments lost in the Victorian bushfires.

The Music Council generally: we can apply your funds to the current priorities.
