This program offers small, quick response grants up to $1,500 aimed at supporting innovative performing arts programming for regional communities in NSW, encouraging new performance initiatives and audience development. The Queensland Government established the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) in 1994 to provide funding to community groups in Queensland. The GCBF receives money from taxes on Golden Casket lotteries, wagering, keno and gaming machines. It distributes these funds to not-for-profit community groups on a quarterly basis (closing 28 February, 31 May, 31 August and 30 November).

Start-up grant applications will be accepted under Arts Tasmania’s assistance to organisations and assistance to individuals grant programs. Grants of up to $3 000 are available for young artists or organisations that predominately comprise and/or represent young people (16-26 years of age) and who have not previously received an Arts Tasmania grant. Start-up grants can be used for any eligible project, or may be used towards the purchase of essential equipment normally excluded from grant assistance.
