Submission to the Office for the Arts

The Minister for the Arts commissioned a report on the Australia Council for the Arts, the Commonwealth Government’s arm’s length arts funding body. When the report was published he invited comments from the public.

The Music Council appreciated the general thrust of the Review in attempting to introduce more flexibility and especially, more funds and has a lot of observations and suggestions to make. The response was assembled with contributions from Council and staff members.
